Editors'' Forum - Introduction


IBSA Editors' Forum

IBSA Editors' Forum is a platform where senior Editors', think tanks and distinguished persons from IBSA countries come together to analyze developments in the field of media in the three major democracies. The Forum discusses issues related to south-south cooperation and the facilitating role of media from the point of view of information dissemination among the IBSA countries.

IBSA Editors' Forum met for the first time in New Delhi (Sept 2007). The last meeting took place in Pretoria (October 2011)

The predominant theme which guides discussions in IBSA Editors' Forum is Multipolarity and the New World Order. The IBSA Editors' Forum dwells on the key issues of inclusive growth and sustainable development while attempting to bring a fresh perspective in the socio-political discourse of the South in the mainstream media.
